i’m on the second day of the 30 days of thanks adventure.
today i’m grateful for the time shift back to standard time!
i get up at 5:55 a.m. every day. because it’s pitch black until 6:30 most mornings, i get up, shower, and get to school for when the library opens. i have the same routine every morning.
today marks the beginning of a new routine! because the sun comes up early enough, i can jog before heading to school. it’s really nice because i feel energized and don’t have to dread working out all day. i much prefer cold weather and the bike path is right by my house, so i’m pumped.
i’m doing the couch to 5k plan and hope to make running [real running, not just a jogging version of the truffle shuffle] part of my daily routine. trying to become healthier was just made easier by the time shift! and what’s better than jogging with the sunrise?
